Yeah you guys keep saying the other day and such - but those of us who went out after TODAYS latest update aren't seeing jack shite!

Yeah its been like that for ages with me, took 4 runs to actually get a gold armour (had 2 purples in that time) and it wasn't even superior. It seems like all these drops are been reserved for one person...

Up until today I've been doing okay, even though I have noticed a drop off lately. Today ..... nada.

Twicky ..... have you checked your spot yet today? I've been out to several places that have yielded runes in the past and so far have only one minor.

yeah the drops had been a "litte" sparse lately but today its obsolete! NOTHING IS DROPPIN! I am getting short bows, hammers, a long sword, white pauldrons, humps, and hides... THATS IT! And that is TODAY ONLY!

yea drops today are horrible

been out 4 times only one blue pauldron and it was a minor prot rune

I remember one time maybe 2 months ago and me n some friends were having a "gold pauldron conteset" and we were seein who could get the most in one run, and i ended up getting like 7 or 8.

Though yesterday before they removed the kurzicks/luxons i did get a sup vigor

so maybe they did nerf the ettins today?

Yes I have been doing my spot a few times today. Nothing that special so far. But plenty of rare materials. Pulled about 10 within 15 minutes.

I've done 4 ettin runs today, got 5 purples and 2 golds.

Thats about normal.

Many times its luck and the characters "seed" when they are created that determines your drops.

I've have multiple farming characters on different accounts. My monk was created with a great seed an consistantly get good drops no matter where I'm at.

My necro on the other hand never gets anything. My mes gets drops all the time. My war is so-so.

There is no way to see the seed on your character or a way to measure it.

Ok, ETTINS have officially been NERFED. I used to get about 10 gold armors in about 30min consistently, but now I'm getting a bunch of white crap. This was my business for the past month or so (selling gold armors), so I can say it's been nerfed. My guildies have confirmed the same and they all used to have the same luck as me.

I was really hoping people were just have bad luck, but that doesn't seem to be the case. You can expect runes prices to go back up, especially with Factions coming out. Probably a good idea to stock up on Superior Runes...

it is NOT an Ettin nerf...I'm betting it was a global nerf or something...ever since the patch last night, I have not gotten a single gold or purple drop, not counting chests.

I have a spot that always gets at least one gold armor and 2 purples per run, but today not a single one. Absolutely northing gold or purple has dropped for me anywhere, except for chests.

When you have 2 different monks. Can do the same run in the same amount of time. One gets uber drops consistantly and the other gets just about nothing all the time. I've even tested this on 2 different accounts.

I've done a lot of test on this to confirm it for myself. You can believe it or not that's up to you of course. I know this to be true from the test I've done.

Just a thought. With Factions releasing in a couple days, and runes for ritualist and assassin, perhaps they stopped the good rune drops and (hopefully) the drops will be back after the release with the two new classes added to the drops.

Or ..... just wishful thinking.

Doubt it. I've also gotten no shrads while farming the beach by myself, but when I'm with somebody else, the drops are fine. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Maybe they changed the drops to scale with more people in the party.

So.. Haven't read all of the thread, so if anybody has come to this conclusion before, excuse the redundancy.

When they changed NKP last time (added kurz/lux) alot of people went to visit to check it out. Same deal now with the removal (go find the lovebirds, see if camps are gone). Ettins farmers were sure of a nerf back then too.

ALOT of people went to visit those areas when these updates hit, meaning alot more instances get spawned.. Most likely you've just been unlucky with the generation of the area as you enter. Especially if each area has its own random number generator for purposes of generating the spawn, loot tables etc.

What I am loving is the one guy who said that in 4runs he got a few purple and 2gold....
No offense man, but I think the rest of us are talking the ENTIRE population and not just the doors of Bergen or Beetletun...

I used to get AT LEAST 5 gold armors in less than 30mins (granted they may have just been major crap, but that isnt the point). The fact that most people are getting ONE and ONLY BLUE after SEVERAL HOURS! means either NERFED or someone keyed the farming code - OR possibly its a temp thing due to factions starting (I am hoping for the latter of the 3).

I didnt see any decrease in drops when they added the Kurz/Lux - it was not this morning that I noted a difference.
